4.1 Third-Party AI Service Data Sharing (Google Gemini)
Our app uses the Google Gemini AI service for AI-powered financial analysis and chat features. Your explicit consent is required within the app before any data is shared with this service.
4.1.1 Data Sent to Google Gemini
When you use AI features, only the following data is sent to Google Gemini:
- Your income and expense summaries (aggregate totals)
- Spending breakdown by category
- Questions you type in the chat
4.1.2 Data Recipient

4.1.3 User Consent
AI features are entirely optional. Before any data is sent to Google Gemini:
- A consent dialog clearly discloses what data will be sent
- The dialog specifies who the data is sent to (Google Gemini AI)
- Your explicit permission is obtained via the "Accept & Continue" button
- You can decline and continue using all other app features without any data being shared
4.1.4 Data Protection
- All communication is encrypted via SSL/TLS
- Google Gemini provides at least the level of protection described in Google's own privacy policy
- Chat history is stored locally on your device for 7 days and can be deleted at any time
5. Data Security
We take the following measures to protect your data:
- Data transmission via SSL/TLS encryption
- Encrypted database storage
- Regular security updates
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse
- Secure authentication via Firebase Authentication
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

- Removed from backups within 90 days
